Baked Mac and Cheese
Ingredients
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp salt
- Β½ tsp dry mustard
- ΒΌ tsp black pepper
- 3 cups milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions
Preheat oven to 375Β° F. Cook pasta 6 minutes and drain. Combine cornstarch, salt, mustard, pepper in a sauce pan. Whisk in milk slowly, until smooth. Add butter. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in 6 oz of cheddar cheese. Stir in pasta. Pur into a 13x9 baking pan. Sprinkle top with remaining 2 oz of cheese. Bake 25 minutes.
